Wedding Season

As it's wedding season I thought I'd post this card I designed especially for my neighbours wedding in New Zealand. They met whilst parachuting so the design is based around that. Everything in the illustration relates to them and their life, as I thought it would be nice to make a super personalised card. It got me thinking about alternative and different wedding ideas. I've added some shots of these totally different wedding bouquets I came across on Etsy, made by RBK Creations. Enjoy!

A bit of retro

After a busy few weeks working on a couple of pitches,  I'm back looking at some card designs. I love the idea of a limited palette and simple, strong patterns that all have a bit of a retro vibe. Looking for some extra inspiration I had a look in our local second-hand bookstore, where I found the book 'Pressed Flowers Collages and other ideas' by Pamela McDowel. It uses petals and leaves to make patterns and pictures. Sweet! Here's a peek at some of my designs and of course some images from the book.
