I've dusted off the paint brushes and I've been busy creating a new range of designs that hopefully capture a romantic and vintage feel. It's great to get back to paper and paints after years of working solely on the mac. Here's a sneaky peak at a rose and anenome from one of the cards. I'm already looking forward to designing some Christmas collections in watercolour. I've already been out snapping some of the beautiful period cottages and town houses in my area.. what a design geek!

Accepted on Advocate!
I'm absolutely over the moon to have been accepted on the books of Advocate Art, the world renowned illustration and art agency! I came across Advocate when I first began work in the Greetings Industry and was blown away by the artists work on there. It has amazing talent on it's books such as Lynn Horrabin, Martin Irish and Martina Fedotova.
I've started developing some new styles which you can see above. I'm exploring more detailed and hand crafted finishes and some cute characters. I'm even going to dust off my paint brushes, it's been too long since my fingernails got messy.

Designs in John Lewis Store
Welcome to my blog and my first ever post! I'd thought I'd start by showing a photo of a couple of gift bags I designed for John Lewis which are in store now. I designed them whilst I was still working in full time employment, as a National Accounts Design Manager. I designed the stamps bag as just a 2d concept on a board, but the design team have taken it forward and it looks just great. Nothing beats seeing your work in store!
